Frequently Asked Questions

At The Pine in the Valley, we want to give our customers the most enjoyable shopping experience. We hope these frequently asked questions help answer any queries you may have.

Do you offer gift wrapping and packaging?

I would be happy to wrap your gift for you and send direct to the recipient. I will always endeavour to use recycled and bio-degradable wrapping paper.

I try wherever possible to reuse postal packaging in an effort to be environmentally friendly.  Inside your repurposed envelope or jiffy bag, your jewellery with be boxed in new elegant eco/recycled jewellery packaging.

Do you accept returns and exchanges?

I will gladly accept returns or exchanges on any non-personalised items.
If you are not entirely satisfied, simply contact me within 14 days of receiving your item, and return it within 30 days.

The following items can not be exchanged:
•personalised items
•earrings (for hygiene reasons)

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. The item must be returned in its original condition.

Do you work on commissions?

I would be delighted to discuss any commissions or ideas for jewellery items that you maybe have, but don’t see, in my shop: please get in touch with any ideas you have.

Is recycled silver hypoallergenic?

The recycled silver I use is still sterling silver. If your skin is normally happy with sterling silver, it should be no different with the recycled silver I use.

Is all your silver recycled?

Wherever I can I use recycled sterling silver. I am not yet able to source all my silver chains, or earring posts and backs, or other findings such as bracelet clasps (unless they are stated as handmade by me in the item description) so unless stated so in the individual item description, these items are standard sterling silver. The move to recycled silver is a work in progress and I will change fully to recycled sterling silver as soon as I can.
